Contact

Email help@getwieser.com with your question or a description of the problem.

Helpful details (if relevant): SimpleCue version (shown in Help or the App Store listing), iOS/iPadOS version, device model, and whether iCloud sync is on. You can also open Help inside the app and use Contact Support to start a mail draft with version info filled in.

Common questions

Where is my script stored?

On your device. If you enable Sync scripts with iCloud and you are signed in to iCloud, scripts and mirrored settings sync through your Apple iCloud account. SimpleCue does not host your scripts on its own servers.

Do I need an account?

No SimpleCue account. An Apple ID is only involved for App Store purchase and, if you choose, iCloud sync.

Is there a subscription?

No. SimpleCue is a paid App Store app with features included. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase unlock tier.

Does the app work offline?

Core use—creating, editing, and presenting scripts stored on the device—does not require a network connection. iCloud sync and App Store purchase/restore flows need Apple’s services when you use them.

Why does SimpleCue ask for the camera?

Only for optional Practice Mode eye tracking on TrueDepth-capable iPhones. Processing is on-device. You can refuse camera access and still use timed look-up prompts.

iCloud sync isn’t updating

Paste from other apps keeps asking

On iPad (and when iOS prompts), set Paste from Other Apps to Allow for SimpleCue in Settings → SimpleCue (or Simple Cue) → Paste from Other Apps.

What file types can I import?

.txt, .md, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, and .html. Older Word .doc files are not supported; save as .docx or PDF first.
